Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Tigers at Longleat. DESCRIPTION: It is ten years since the lions came to Longleat, stately home of the Marquess of Bath. Now the Park has some new inhabitants - Tigers. SHOTLIST: GV Longleat House in background with sign "Tigers" in foreground. GV Longleat House. MS two giraffes and a camel with her baby. Pan. MS group of people with giraffe’s head in foreground. MS group of people from coaches. A giraffe comes into picture and is fed by Lord Bath. MLS monkeys playing on the lawn. MS mother and baby monkey at bottom of the tree. MCU monkey on grass, eating. MS coach and cars entering safari park. MS lions by side of the road. MCU lions eating. MCU two lions fighting over a piece of meat. Pull back to see them after the fight. MS Duke of Bedford and Lord Bath in new tiger cage testing it. Camera moves in. CU Duke of Bedford testing a support. CU Lord Bath. MS Lord Bath and Duke of Bedford with press around the outside as they inspect the inside of the cage. MS Duke of Bedford opening cage by giving speech.
