- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Knights of the Round Table. DESCRIPTION: The Court of King Arthur lives on at Tintagel in Cornwall. The Order of the Knights of the Round Table, basically a charitable organisation, hold ceremonies to dub new Knights and observe the rituals of this ancient Court. SHOTLIST: MS Tintagel village in distance. MS knight on horseback arriving at King Arthur’s Hall. MS sign ‘King Arthur’s Hall’. MS knights round the Round Table. MCU knight at table. MS Knight Principal (Tom Mor) sitting at throne. MS knights and lady at table, they all stand and drink a toast. MS Knight Principal with 3 cups which he offers to throne. MS Knight Principal offering cup to throne. MS Knight Principal turns, toasts other knights and drinks as do the knights. MS knights and ladies drinking. MCU sword which is drawn from sheath by Knight Principal. Postulants in order (Malcolm Kelly, Mrs Renee Shattock, boy John Shattock, girl Tania Hendon), Malcolm Kelly is led away by knight. M Kelly comes before Knight Principal where he kneels and is rubbed by the sword of the Knight Principal. CU Malcolm being dubbed. CU ditto. CI stained glass window. MS cliffs of Cornwall pan to knight riding up. MCU knight’s face.
