- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Golden Tree. DESCRIPTION: A very colourful procession parades through the streets of the ancient town of Bruges, it is the ‘Pageant of the Golden Tree’. The pageant is based on a mixture of fact and fiction but its main theme is the marriage of Margaret of York to Charles the Bold, Duke of Burgundy in 1468. SHOTLIST: CU pan up famous belfry.
