Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Soccer FA Cup Semi Finals - Arsenal V Sunderland. DESCRIPTION: Arsenal v Sunderland at Hillsborough. Sunderland win against all the odds, and they now meet Leeds at Wembley in the final. SHOTLIST: MS Sunderland come onto field. GV crowd applauding. TS Sunderland kick off left to right. MCU gent watching. TS Sunderland attacking down right wing but is stopped by a foul (Emlyn Hughes). TS Sunderland take free kick but it’s cleared by Arsenal. LAS Montgomery, Sunderland keeper. 2 TSs Bob Kelly receives ball then passes down the wing, winger getting ball and crossing it. LAS Montgomery saves the cross. TS Sunderland attacking down the wing. TS Michael Horswill shoots for goal, Bob Wilson saves well. MS police retaining a youth. TS Halom beats Wilson and puts ball in net. TS Sunderland player congratulating Halom. MS crowd going wild, TS Arsenal attack, George Armstrong hits the post. MS Arsenal supporters. TS Sunderland attack, Wilson is hurt after saving from Hughes. LAS Wilson lying on ground hurt. MCU crowd. TS from a long throw in, Sunderland player headed it backwards & Hughes scored Sunderland’s second goal. TS Arsenal get a free kick on edge of the penalty area, Charlie George shoots and it is just wide. MS Arsenal supporters. TS George attacking down middle, passes to John Radford on the wing but Radford’s cross is saved by Montgomery. TS George hit a hard low shot which was partly saved by Montgomery but it still went in net. TS both teams leaving pitch. GV crowd going wild, TS press watching teams go down tunnel.
