- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rugby...England V Scotland. DESCRIPTION: England v Scotland Rugby International held at Twickenham. England played superbly in the first half, and finally won have a fight in the last quarter, the score 20 - 13. SHOTLIST: SV England (in white) running onto field. SV PM Edward Heath in box watching. SV Cooper kicks off for England right to left. STV England attacking, both teams scrummage for ball, Smith receives & passes to Cooper who passes to G Evans who is brought down by Scottish defence. CU man in crowd. SV pan England attacking, the ball is passed to No 11 David Duckham who races forward, beats Scotland No 14 and No 9 Duckham barges his way through and is brought down just on the edge of the line - a very near try for England. CU excited man in crowd. GV England attacking No 7 nearly passes to No 10 Cooper who passes to P Squires who goes over line for a try. Score England 4, Scotland 0. SV pan England attacking again Duckham passes to Cooper No 10 who passes to Preece, Dixon receives from Preece, Dixon barges through to score a try. SV score England 8, Scotland 0. GV from scrum to England attacking through a passing movement on left wing. CU excited man. SV England attacking, Dixon receives ball and bulldozes his way through over line for try. GV crowd cheering. GV Tony Jordan coverts. SV scoreboard England 14, Scotland 0. GV pan Douglas Morgan taking penalty kick for Scotland - Score England 14, Scotland 4. LV England fumble ball, B Steele races in to push it over line, score England 14, Scotland 7. CU excited crowd. GV Scotland attacking with Steele racing up the right wing & goes over for try.
