Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Scottish FA Cup Final - in Colour. DESCRIPTION: Held for the 87th time, The Scottish Cup Final, played in front of 106,000 spectators at Hampden Park, Glasgow. Right from the start, Celtic took over with six dominating goals. From Hibernian there was only one goal. Not a very spectacular game, but fewer fouls than their English counterparts at Wembley. SHOTLIST: MOVIETONE MAIN TITLE. MS Hibernian & Celtic onto field - zoom out Celtic kick off playing right to left, in hooped shirts, they attack but Hibs get control. MS Hibs attack, GV ditto but ball goes wide. GV crowd. LS Celtic attack but Jimmy Johnstone is fouled. LS Tommy Callaghan takes free kick for Celtic, Billy McNeill boots it home, score 1-0 for Celtic. MCS crowd cheer. LS Hibs attack. LS ditto & score at 117’ (1-1). LS Murdoch takes free kick for Celtic & Dixie Deans heads it home. MS players and crowd after goal (2-1). GV 2nd half, kick off by Hibernian. MLS Hibs attack but Celtic goalie clears. MLS Celtic attack cross field. LS Deans beats John Brownlie & Jim Herriot. MLS ball in Hibs goal scored by Deans (3-1). LS Hibs attack - Arthur Duncan (Hibs) & Ewan Williams (Celtic) head ball, Duncan injured. MCU Duncan on ground. LS Celtic attacks and Deans scores his 3rd goal, score 4-1. GV zoom crowd spill onto attack at Celtic end. MS police with crowd. MS police escort supporter off pitch. LS Celtic attacks & Lou Macari scores from pass on right wing (5-1). MLS Celtic attack & Macari scores again. MS players leaving field. GV crowd in presentation stand hide the players as they are presented with trophy. MLS trophy held up above heads of crowd.
