- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sfta Awards. DESCRIPTION: Live on television. All glitter and glamour. The once-a-year event, held in the Albert Hall, when the film and television industry presents awards covering the whole range of the industry from Acting, Producing, Editing etc. The awards were made by Princess Alexandra and the show was compered by Richard Attenborough. CU arc lights. SV Eric Morecambe & Ernie Wise receiving special award from Princess Alexandra together with Script Writer (Eddie Braben), they walk over and shake hands with Peter Cushing. GV standing ovation for Dame Sybil Thorndyke pan and zoom into Dame Sybil on stage with walking stick (age 90 years). SV zoom Joseph Janni producer, going up to receive award for best film Sunday, Bloody Sunday zoom back to GV. STV people giving standing ovation pan to Dame Sybil being helped own steps pan to CU Dame Sybil on TV screen pan and zoom into spotlight.
