Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Miners Vote. DESCRIPTION: By a majority of 96%, the miners have voted to return to work, after the seven week strike. The Electricity Power Board say that power could be back to normal sooner than expected. SHOTLIST: GV pit head deserted. Angle shot pit head wheel pan down to equipment. MCU 2 officials sitting at table handing out ballot papers. MS ditto, pan to queue of miners waiting. MS ballot papers being taken out of box and distributed for counting. CU papers being counted. GV deserted pit head. MS pan across piles of coal awaiting distribution to power stations and homes.
