MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Antiques Fair. DESCRIPTION: Twice a year the Chelsea Town Hall is the venue for the famous Chelsea Antique Fair where dealers from all over Britain exhibit the cream of their stock. On the second day one of the exhibits was stolen. SHOTLIST: GV pan antiques fair exhibition. CU pan vases of various kinds. SV pan general antiques on show. SCU George II sugar sifter £220. CU Orrery showing Uranus with six satellites & Satan with seven. CU George III & Queen Charlotte grandfather clock valued £620, zoom out to SV face of clock. CU opening front of clock showing pendulum. CU second hand on face. CU triple time glass 1/4, 1/2 and 1 hr early 17th century (£450). SV pan various French dolls. CU pan ditto. CU another doll. SV man at counter & woman buying. CU Victorian brooch on girl’s dress. CU necklace around girl’s neck zoom back to her holding earrings total cost £8,000. CU zoom back to SV 16th century Sicilian presentation vase value £200 which has now been stolen from the exhibition.
