- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Czech Situation. DESCRIPTION: Parliament is recalled in August for the first time since 1939, to discuss the Czechoslovakian situation. There have been demonstrations in France, Belgium & Israel, but the most courageous support came from Romania, herself well within the Russian sphere of influence. As the lines of agreement between Russia and Czechoslovakia become clear, Mr Dubcek appeals to the people to support the Government in their efforts to return the country to normal conditions.
