MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Ron’s Record. DESCRIPTION: A long jump for Lynn Davies and a new British Record for Hurdler, David Hemery. But at this Crystal Palace meeting all eyes were turned to the efforts of Australian Ron Clarke. He clipped a fifth of a second off his own world record for the Two-Miles.
