DESCRIPTION: Some may regard it as an anachronism, but in an age of increasing uniformity why shouldn’t the dressing up routine of Royal Ascot be just as popular as ever? In spite of relaxing the rules about lounge suits, we found it all a fascinating blend of formality and freakouts, with Ascot hats and hemlines taking everybody’s minds off the horses.
