- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Venezuela - Bridge Disaster. DESCRIPTION: An oil tanker ripped out a 1500 foot section of the 5 mile bridge spanning Lake Maracaibo, but none of her 42 crew members were injured. The 35,000 ton ship was heavily damaged but did not sink. Five persons drowned when their cars plunged into the water after the section collapsed. SHOTLIST: Key scene. LAS bridge after crash.
