MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Launch of the Fast Flying Fish. DESCRIPTION: Owned by Australians Frank and John Livingstone and designed by Mr David Boyd, Kurrewa V (the Maori word for Flying Fish) was launched by Mrs MacDonald Buchanan. The yacht which was built at Holy Loch may be chosen as a challenger for the America’s Cup in September. The other potential challenger is her sister ship, Sovereign, also designed by Mr Boyd.
