DESCRIPTION: For the grand premiere of Cleopatra a host of stars including Anne Heywood, Anna Neagle, Laya Raki and Robert Mitchum, turned up at the Dominion for this eagerly awaited premiere. Another big night for the cinema took place recently at the Sicilian Film Festival, the presentation of yet another award for The Longest Day. The film’s leading lady Irina Demick was in the audience, which also included Edmund Purdom and Linda Christian, to see the presentation of an Italian Oscar to Darryl Zanuck. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
