- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: House-Bound for Five Years. DESCRIPTION: Jack Hodgson a South African who lives in a tiny flat in Johannesburg has been ordered to stay at home for five years by South Africa’s Minister of Justice. His wife is kept in for 12 hours a day, but she’s allowed to go to work. Jack can’t go beyond the balcony and no visitors are allowed. His lawyers are appealing against the order.
