Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Apprentices at Epsom. DESCRIPTION: Race-fans defied the spoil-sport weather conditions and gathered at Epsom for the Bank Holiday racing. The Donoghue Apprentice Handicap, a race over a mile and a half (and in this weather), was a real test for the young jockeys. 19-year-old Tony Kimberley on Iduna won the race. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
