Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Glory of a Garden (In Colour). DESCRIPTION: Once again, the Chelsea Flower Show, that 4-day mecca of British gardeners, has opened to delight all flower lovers. This year, we went along with our colour cameras to record impressions for those enthusiasts who are unable to make the annual pilgrimage to the grounds of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea. There is a wonderful display of fuchsias, banks of sweet peas, and, of-course, roses and begonias. By way of contrast, the cacti display. As everybody knows, they, too, can have the most lovely blooms. Of the Spring flowers, tulips are among the most colourful glories of a garden. SHOTLIST: Key scene. Flower garden. Flowers. Flowers.
