- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: How the Railways Run. DESCRIPTION: Mr Marples, Minister of Transport, presented Dr Beeching and his deputy, Sir Philip Warter to the Queen who visited the Eastern Region of British Railways. Her Majesty went from Liverpool Street Station to Stratford, and the first stop was to look at diesel engines at the maintenance depot.
