- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Duke Starts Tour. DESCRIPTION: Prince Philip’s arrival in British Guiana was the beginning of the tour. His reception by the people of Georgetown was the prelude to a series of ovations, for his itinerary was to include 10 countries in South America. A bauxite mine near the town of Mackenzie was a feature of the royal visit. Venezuela was the next country on the programme, and His Royal Highness landed at Caracas airport where full military honours were accorded.
