Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Brass Bound to Brighton (Colour). DESCRIPTION: The brass-bound veterans were all ready for an early start. And off they went hot-foot (or should it be hot-seat?) from London to Brighton. It was the 65th anniversary of Emancipation Day (which marked the right to drive a car, without a man walking in front). At the wheel of a 1904 Sunbeam, was Jack Brabham going slow for once! 215 out of 228 starters got to Brighton. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MS car. CU car light. MS car. CU car light. GV start of race.
