MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: King Hussein Weds. DESCRIPTION: 20 miles away from Amman, Jordan’s capital city, the residence is being built for the King and his English-born bride. The wedding in a palace was private, in accord with Muslim rite. King Hussein, by himself, received diplomatic congratulations after the ceremony, at which the bride’s father, Lieutenant Colonel Gardiner, was present.
