- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Tiger Squadron. DESCRIPTION: RAF Fighter Command’s first squadron to be equipped with Lightnings is number seventy-four, known for many years as Tiger Squadron, and now based in Norfolk. The Lightnings carry air-to-air guided weapons called Firestreak. Squadron-Leader Howe is the first South African to command the squadron since Sailor Malan.
