MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Most Beautiful Stamp. DESCRIPTION: There was plenty to set philatelists a-flutter among designs awarded prizes by the International Philatelic Art Society. The awards were presented in London by Miss Mervyn Pike, Assistant Postmaster General. Mr Michael Goaman designed a stamp for Fiji, described as the most beautiful stamp in Australasia. Mr Lynton Lamb was responsible for Britain’s one pound postage stamp, one of a high-value series featuring castles. In this case Windsor.
