Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess Margaret’s Busy Days. DESCRIPTION: An automatic telephone factory at Liverpool was on the programme during Princess Margaret’s North of England visit. Later, she opened a Secondary School for girls, the Countess of Derby School at Bootle. This school is very spacious, very up-to-date, with accent on domestic science and dress-making. At a Charity Premiere of Follow that Girl, the previous evening, the Princess went with her fiancé. The organisers of one of the Princess’s favourite Charities, the Dockland Settlement, were then presented. So were the authors: Dorothy Reynolds and Julian Slade.
