Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Fog - Bound. DESCRIPTION: It was the worst blanket of fog this season, so far. Our cameraman rose above it, while earth-bound Britons were struggling manfully to get to their destinations. Aircraft were grounded at London Airport. . Harrow was shrouded in thick fog. But that didn’t prevent the School’s most illustrious Old Harrovian, Sir Winston Churchill, from paying his promised visit. And the fog brought its rail crash, of-course. This was at East Ham, a collision between two Fenchurch Street trains, both on the way to Shoeburyness. At least 13 people were injured. SHOTLIST: Pan - policeman directing traffic.
