Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Exercise Red Banner. DESCRIPTION: Our pictures show a flash on an air-delivered assault by a brigade formation, an incident during a five-day tactical air mobility exercise, called Red Banner. Over three thousand troops were involved here on Salisbury Plain. One of Movietone’s cameramen got a bird’s-eye view of the proceedings. SHOTLIST: TS paratroopers touch down (key).
