MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Queen - to Have Baby. DESCRIPTION: News from Buckingham Palace - an announcement that the Queen is expecting another child. It was during Her Majesty’s tour of Canada that rumours associated her indisposition with such a possibility. The opening of the Seaway with President Eisenhower was a highlight of that tour. Canada’s welcome was taken up by the Americans. This was Chicago’s ovation. Remember? Her Majesty travelled 15,000 miles in her fantastic trans-Canada journey. Now comes the confirmation of the rumours, and the forecast of a Happy Event early next year. It’s particularly wonderful for the Royal Family, for Prince Charles and Princess Anne.
