MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Lanimer Day. SHOTLIST: Shot of poster. Shot of William Wallace with whose campaign for Scottish freedom at the beginning of the 14th century, the town is closely associated. Sequence of shots of the various items in the procession led by the Lord Coronet, Mr William Bryson, followed by the Provost and Baillies and a band of men and youths carrying Birks (branches of the silver birch).
