- Summary
- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Moss Wins at Nurburgring. DESCRIPTION: The German thousand-kilometre race for Sports Cars took place on the Nurburgring, six hundred and twenty miles on a twisting, tortuous course, at speeds averaging over eighty. Number two, Whitehead (Aston Martin), three, Tony Brooks (Ferrari), and Stirling Moss (number one), Aston Martin. His co-driver, Jack Fairman, had the misfortune to spin off the track in the twenty-third lap. Between them, however, they made up for lost time.
