Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Surtees’ Double. DESCRIPTION: The Isle of Man and the annual gathering for the TT Number four, Geoff Duke on a Norton, and number five, John Surtees riding an MV Agusta in the Junior event. Well ahead of the field was John Surtees, who won the Junior TT for the second time running. In the Senior event, he was again riding an Italian Agusta, number four. But a high wind was a terrible hazard, and conditions were the worst ever. But in spite of driving rain, Surtees finished with another TT Double in the bag. SHOTLIST: MS rider prepares (key).
