Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: A Gallant Loser. DESCRIPTION: These pictures show Brian London in his very game attempt on the World Heavyweight title, held by coloured champion Floyd Patterson. This battle at Indianapolis was clear evidence that the British boxer was out-classed by the American in speed and punching power. It ended in the eleventh round. SHOTLIST: LS boxing in progress (key). MS Patterson v London - London takes punch. MS London goes down - saved by bell. MS fighters come out for 11th round. Spectators. Longer shot - Patterson knocks out London. Closer London is helped to his feet. Same holds his arms high.
