MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Churchill’s Birthday. DESCRIPTION: At Chartwell, his home in Kent, Sir Winston Churchill was celebrating his birthday. All day long, telegrams by the hundred came pouring in with congratulations. His son, his daughters and other relatives came along. Sir Winston came out for a minute to acknowledge greetings and to pose for the cameras. SHOTLIST: MS man lifts flowers from van. GV ‘Chartwell’. LS flag on chimney.
