Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bee for Beauty. DESCRIPTION: New facts of life (concerning bees) are coming to light. Ordinary bees only eat the best bee-food (called Royal Jelly), for three days. But the Queens, who can eat as much Royal Jelly as they like, grow very fast and to an enormous size. And they live five hundred times as long and far more beautiful. There is a theory that what’s good for bees may also be good for humans. People have been trying out Royal Jelly, to rid themselves of tell-tale lines and wrinkles. Rubbing it in, or eating it. At a pool near Watford, Movietone persuaded a man to take his Royal Jelly in a glass of water. SHOTLIST: CU bees. MS man uncovers hive. CU bees from hive. CU bees. CU beekeeper.
