MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Russian Race Card. DESCRIPTION: For the first time, all fifteen Soviet Republics were represented at a parade of riders in costume. It was the grand opening for Moscow’s recent race-meeting. Girl riders from Kazakhstan and Turkmenia had their place on this Soviet Race-card. The famous three-horse carriages, called Troikas, had a terrific race. It was all part of what you might describe as Moscow’s Derby Day. SHOTLIST: MS horses. MS same. Same. MS track of race. Same.
