Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: New Design Lifeboat. DESCRIPTION: A new type of lifeboat was on display at Littlehampton. In a matter of seconds, she rights herself. It’s done by means of the quick transfer of her water-ballast, into a righting tank on one side. She is light enough to be transported over a beach for launching, and has a range of over a hundred miles at her full speed of eight knots. SHOTLIST: MS boat sailing. MS boat capsizing. CU same.
