Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Monte Carlo Rally. DESCRIPTION: Hazards awaited the British contingent in the Monte Carlo Rally. We had the largest entry and the 85 starters from Glasgow had it rough all the way, but they all got to Dover. Control points enforced a 37-mile an hour average, throughout the 18 hundred miles. Out of a total starting list of 302, some two thirds were to fall by the wayside, before the first car reached Monte Carlo. SHOTLIST: Pan from houses to snow covered road. MS parked cars.
