Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Herring Fleet. DESCRIPTION: Focus of fishermen at Great Yarmouth - with the revival of the Herring Fair, the East Anglian and Scottish fleets combined, in a real day out, a unique celebration of their own. Scores of drifters assembled off the port, and the Fishery Protection Vessel HMS Wave was all set for the sail-past by the drifters. Their salute was taken by Admiral Parham C-in-C the Nore.
