Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Finish of Le Mans Car Race. DESCRIPTION: At Le Mans, Hawthorn set a new lap record of over 125 in a Ferrari. Many fell by the wayside with various breakdowns. British Jaguars went on to score the biggest triumph in the history of the event, taking first, second, third, fourth and sixth places. Jag number three, driven by Flockhart and Bueb, was the winning car - at just under 114 miles an hour. SHOTLIST: Cars start. Various shots of the race. Crowds. Race.
