Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Ideal Homes Exhibition. DESCRIPTION: Visiting Olympia, the Queen and Prince Philip were accompanied by Lord Rothermere during their tour of the Daily Mail Ideal Home Exhibition. Among the things inspected were the Village of Progress, the Exhibition’s garden and the Pavilion of Gold. The Queen was amused by a gadget that scrapes potatoes and gives them a new twist.
