MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Over the Pole - Copenhagen to Tokyo Air Route. DESCRIPTION: Scandinavian Air Lines have established a route from Copenhagen to Tokyo, right over the top of the world. The flight takes them over the Lofoten Islands, the only stop is at Anchorage Airfield in Southern Alaska. And the new route knocks 22 hours off the previous best.
