- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: He Flies Through the Air. DESCRIPTION: An experiment studies the effect of using an ejector seat at supersonic speeds. A dummy jet plane travels on a track up to 1,500 miles an hour. The pilot flies through the air at horrifying velocity as the aircraft breaks up, he is shot over the edge of a cliff and his parachute opens. SHOTLIST: Various LS of ejector seat travelling along at supersonic speed. Slow motion as pilot flies through the air after the aircraft breaks up. Aircraft breaking up in slow motion. Pilot shoots over the edge of the cliff and his parachute opens. Floating down to earth.
