Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Engineer Graduation. DESCRIPTION: Students who’ve just passed their final exams at the State Engineering School, near Stuttgart, carry out an old graduation custom, like the traditional Kandel March through the town. SHOTLIST: Students walking out of the State Engineering School wearing their top hats and carrying their umbrellas with paper on the end of the umbrellas. TPS of the paper being put onto a bonfire. Paper on the fire. Various shots of the students doing the traditional candle march (one foot on the pavement and one foot in the gutter) whilst carrying their open umbrellas.
