Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Highest Dam. DESCRIPTION: They’re building a huge dam in Switzerland, which involves the laying of many tons of concrete. 1,400 workers are on the job and when finished in two years it will be the world’s highest, about 930 feet. SHOTLIST: TPS over dam being constructed. MLS container being lowered down (just misses man’s foot) and a cement lorry dropping cement into the container. Container being lifted up and travelling up a form of ski lift. Container being lowered and TPS of container emptying the cement. MLS cement coming out of the container. MCU men putting vibrating machines into the cement. TPS of the dam under construction. Panning shot along the dam.
