Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Operation Survival. DESCRIPTION: Nine Frenchmen are making a pilgrimage into pre-history to find out how caveman lived in the Stone Age. They’ll spend three weeks in a cave (near Toulousem in Southern France) living on roots, snails, insects and fish. SHOTLIST: In the caves of the Queroy region, near the town of Carennac, ten young men prepared to live exactly as men lived in the Stone Age. Expedition being blessed by priest of Carennac. Men brought by military truck to the caves. After being searched by Gendarmes, the men go off into the countryside.
