Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Terrorists on the Run. DESCRIPTION: Over the Troodos Mountains in South West Cyprus, spotting was carried out by helicopters, during operation Lucky Alphonse in which some two thousand troops took part. It was later that the forest fire swept over this area, with tragic loss of life to British servicemen. SHOTLIST: GV Troodos Mountains 2 shots. Helicopters over head. GV soldiers down hillside. MS soldier in dugout with binoculars. GV mountains. MCU soldiers with mortars. LS explosions on hillside. GV mortars loaded. LS explosions. MCU soldier firing rifle (x2).
