Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sir Anthony at Farnborough, Colchester and Aldermaston. DESCRIPTION: The Premier began his tour with a visit to Farnborough Air Show, he boarded an Avro Vulcan, one of Britain’s latest V Bombers. This was followed by a inspection of the Fighting Services at Colchester, where he was greeted by Major General Harding, Commander East Anglia District. He later went to Aldermaston, Berkshire to the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment. Here he was welcomed by Sir William Penney. SHOTLIST: CU of Anthony Eden with VIPs.
