MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Farnborough Highlights. DESCRIPTION: At Farnborough, the latest version of the Vickers Valiant (nicknamed the Black Bomber) flew over making its first public-appearance. Neville Duke flashed over the airfield crashing through the sound barrier at a great height. There was plenty of new aircraft to see on the day devoted to civil aircraft and King Hussein of Jordan was one of the interested spectators. SHOTLIST: KS. Airport from the control tower. Aerial shot of the Vickers Valiant?, (The Black Bomber), various. Hawker Hunter at great height, crashes through sound barrier, leaves vapour trail in the sky. On ground, Bristol Britannia. King Hussein of Jordan down gangway of plane. SCU in front of plane. Take off of Bristol Britannia. Aerial shots of same in flight. Bristol 171 helicopter in flight, Blackburn Beverley in flight. On ground cargo of vehicles being loaded into same. Kitchen sink being carried from same.
