MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Visit to Ulster. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Viking plane taxies onto Aldergrove aerodrome. Queen and Duke alight. Duke in Marshal of RAF uniform. Received by Lord Wakehurst. Inspects Guard of Honour. Caragh Coote, 3 years old presents bouquet to Queen. Queen and Duke shake hands with Prime Minister Lord Brookeborough. Queen and Duke depart in car. Through cheering crowds en route to Government House. Drive through Lisburn Q & D arrive at Lisburn. Kathleen Anna Irwin presents Queen with bouquet. Young boy presents Duke with box of Irish linen. Night Material - Government House. Queen and Duke come out of door and talk to Lambeg drummers. Same march off. Next day, Queen & Duke in Belfast University. Walk in procession with Lord Alanbrooke, to the Sir William Whitla Hall. Interior. Queen meets various representatives of Ulster. Queen drives to City Hall, various shots. Received by Lord Mayor Percy Brown. Queen inspects Guard of Honour. Interior Q & D walk in City Hall. Q & D arrive at Balmoral Show Grounds. Members of youth organisations cheering. Parliament buildings cut-ins of the guard of honour 1st Battalion Irish Guards. Queen enters. Shots of Q & D assembled throng. Queen with Lord Brookeborough. Duke with Lady Brookeborough. Walk down steps of Parliament buildings.
