Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Queen at Badminton (Olympic Horse Trials). DESCRIPTION: The Queen obviously enjoyed watching the Olympic Horses Trials, held on the Duke of Beaufort’s estate at Badminton. Princess Margaret, as well as other members of the Royal Family, were there, and a car, driven by the Duke, came in very useful for getting from one good vantage point to another. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV Duke of Beaufort’s estate. Ditto. Queen & Duke of Edinburgh arrive, also Princess Margaret. Horses start off on course. Queen & Duke, latter driving off in Land Rover. Various shots of competitors going through their courses. Queen, Duke, Princess Margaret, Duke of Gloucester, Princess Royal, Prince Richard & Prince William all appear in the picture watching from time to time.
